My Journey

During my graduate training in counseling, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and couples under supervision. Those experiences and the growth I witnessed have shaped the way I approach my coaching work. I’ve seen how trust forms through emotional awareness, curiosity, and honest conversation, and these insights guide the heart of Heartwork.

Hi, I’m Paulina. The heart behind this work.
My passion for this field grew from my own journey of healing, self discovery, and education. Over the years I’ve intentionally cultivated emotional awareness and resilience, learning how to sit with discomfort, reflect openly, and grow through my experiences. Through therapy, study, and meaningful inner work, I’ve come to understand the patterns that shape our relationships and the emotional strength we can build when we have the right support. Heartwork was born from that understanding.

The insight, empathy, and tools that helped me evolve are the same qualities I bring to my work with clients. My approach centers on helping people rediscover themselves, strengthen connection, and create relationships that feel grounded, conscious, and real. I hold space that is warm, honest, and attuned so you can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and grow into the most aligned version of yourself.

FAQs

Who is Heartwork for?

Heartwork is for individuals navigating breakups, relational transitions, or identity shifts, as well as those wanting to change how they approach dating and relationships. I also work with couples who want to communicate with more understanding, regulate emotions together, and rebuild connection in a conscious, grounded way.

What issues do you address?

I support individuals and couples in exploring relational patterns while strengthening emotional resilience and self-trust. Our work often focuses on communication, boundaries, nervous system awareness, and identity so you can create relationships that feel grounded, conscious, and aligned with who you’re becoming.

How long are sessions?

Sessions typically last 50 minutes, allowing enough time to go deep while staying focused and intentional. During a consultation call, we can discuss your goals and determine whether a longer session length would feel supportive.

Are sessions online or in-person?

All sessions are held online for accessibility and comfort. If you are located in Portland, Oregon and are interested in meeting in person, we can discuss potential options.

What makes Heartwork different?

Heartwork integrates evidence-informed relational understanding with intuitive, heart-centered guidance. My approach is shaped by my graduate studies in counseling and supervised clinical experience working with individuals and couples, while all services offered through Heartwork are provided strictly within a coaching and educational framework. This work is about reconnecting with your inner wisdom, deepening emotional awareness, building resilience, and transforming long-held patterns into sources of clarity, strength, and self-trust.
